One pass down the day's schedule. What it does per patient, what it deliberately skips, and how it stays out of your way while it runs.

The morning job is the same every day: work down the schedule, open each patient, check their insurance. Sync today is one button that does that pass for you, in your own browser, on the practice system you already have open.

What it does per patient

It opens the patient, confirms the chart that opened is actually the right person, reads their insurance, and goes back to the schedule. Then the next one.

Once the pass is done, Mesio takes the insurance it found and runs a live check against each patient's current status with their carrier.

It waits for you

This is the part that decides whether a tool like this is usable. Before each patient, Mesio waits until you have stopped typing and clicking. If you pick the browser back up mid-run it stands down rather than fighting you for the cursor.

You can pause it or stop it at any point, and it tells you where it is the whole time: which patient, how many done, how many left. Close the panel and reopen it and the progress is still there.

What it skips on purpose

• The same person twice. A patient with two appointments today is read once.
• Patients with no insurance. There is nothing to look up, so it does not spend the time.
• Empty states that look like carriers. A carrier field reading None, N/A, Self pay, Cash or No insurance on file is treated as no policy rather than as a company called None.

When it cannot open somebody

If the chart that opens does not show the patient it was looking for, Mesio stops on that one. It does not read insurance off a chart it is not sure about, because attaching one patient's coverage to another is the worst thing this tool could do.

Those patients come back to you by name at the end, to check.

What you get at the end

A plain sentence rather than a dashboard. Something close to: synced fourteen patients, nine with insurance stored, history for eleven, three with no insurance on file, two not opened, check the name. Then the two it could not do, listed with what went wrong.
