Mesio always has a way in
Mesio works with your practice system from day one. How much it does for you depends on which system, and that improves on its own, without anyone at the practice doing anything.
Most software answers “does it work with my practice system?” with a list of logos. That is a yes-or-no promise, and if you are not on the list the conversation is over.
Mesio answers it differently, because getting work into your practice system has four routes rather than one. Which route you get depends on what your system exposes. The last one needs nothing from your software at all, which is why the answer is always yes.
The four routes
1 · Automatic
Nobody clicks anything. You sign the note and it is in your system. Today's schedule arrives in Mesio on its own. The perio chart you dictated is typed into your system's own perio module, site by site, not pasted as a wall of text.
This is what you get on Open Dental, Dentrix and Eaglesoft. A small Mesio app sits on one workstation alongside your practice system and does the work there. The practice owner sets it up once and grants the access; nothing leaves your office that you have not agreed to.
2 · One click, and Mesio drives
For practice systems that run in a browser, Mesio mounts a drawer inside the tab you are already logged into. It knows where that system keeps its fields, so it fills them while you watch. You still press save, because the record is yours to sign.
This is how Oryx works today, and how any browser system works once Mesio has been shown around it once.
3 · Show it the screen
Put the screen in front and press one button. Mesio reads it — the day's schedule, an insurance screen, a perio chart — and hands back rows for you to check before anything is kept.
This works on a system Mesio has never seen. It works through a remote desktop session, where there is nothing to integrate with at all, only pixels.
4 · Take it across yourself
Mesio gives you the finished note, formatted the way your system wants it, and the perio chart as a table or a PDF. You paste it where it goes.
This one is always available. Every page, every practice system, including the ones nobody has taught it yet.
That last point is the whole design. Mesio is never allowed to end up holding a finished note with no way to get it to you. The bottom route is always mounted, so the worst case is that you do the last step by hand — not that the work is stranded.

It gets better without you doing anything
Mesio keeps getting better at the practice systems it meets, and that improvement arrives on its own. A practice that started on the third route can find itself on the second without anyone asking for an upgrade or installing anything.
What improves is Mesio's knowledge of where things live on a screen. Nothing about your patients is ever part of that — and nothing about your practice is shared with another one.
What each route cannot do
Being straight about this is the point of having four of them.
- Mesio enters, it does not save. On every route. It fills the fields and stops, and a person reviews and commits. That is deliberate, and it does not change as the routes get better.
- Screen reading is reading. It is very good and it is not perfect, so anything read off a picture is shown to you before it is kept. Nothing commits from a photograph on its own.
- Automatic still means a person signs. The work arrives in the right place; the clinical responsibility does not move.
